Bachelors in Hebrew

Students interested in acquiring proficiency in modern Hebrew can enroll in language courses from beginning to intermediate levels. In addition, credits from these courses may be counted toward the major or minor in Jewish studies. Lower-division courses are aimed at enabling students to gain proficiency in aural comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing. Attention is also given to developing an understanding of the culture, history, and religion that have been expressed through the Hebrew language from antiquity until today.
