The German Department has long employed two cultural and educational experts from Germany and Austria to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, with professional courses taught annually by experts from the Free University of Berlin. From time to time, the German Department invites well-known German and Italian writers and scholars to make short visits. Undergraduates, master's students and doctoral students from the German Department have exchanged study opportunities in Germany (mainly in Berlin, Munich, G ttingen, Heidelberg, Tubingen, and other places), usually for a period of six months or one year.
