BA European Languages and Cultures

While cultural affinities and shared interests shaped the history of Europe and the United States, new realities call into question many assumptions about our common trajectory. The new BA program in European Languages and Cultures cultivates an appreciation for Europe s rich history and culture, while preparing students to engage Europeans in the 21st Century. In addition to becoming proficient in one or more European languages, students will learn about the traditions and transformations that are redefining Europe s relationship with the rest of the world. This can open doors for travel, study and work in Europe as part of one s college experience and future career.
