BA in Classical Philology

The bachelor program Classical Philology mainly mediated scientifically sound knowledge of Latin and ancient Greek language and literature as well as the respective historical and socio-cultural context. This includes both the ability to re fl ected and methods steered description and analysis of literary texts and language phenomena as to the safe use of scientific tools. The aim is to be able to present results both verbally and in writing, and to independently write scientific texts. In addition to providing key qualifications for various occupational fields (ie communicative, media and cultural competences), an essential goal is the ability to analyze and problem-solving skills.
