Description

Africa as the cradle of humanity and emerging continent is increasingly becoming the focus of politics, business and research. Understanding African languages is crucial for each of these areas. The three-year bachelor program African Languages and Cultures deals with the languages of Africa and the methods for their research as well as the social and cultural conditions of the language realities on the African continent. The curriculum includes the languages Amharic, Hausa and Swahili. Students can set a professional and regional focus with a method profile.
