BA Empirical Cultural Studies and European Ethnology

Folklore / European Ethnology is an empirical cultural science that examines and analyzes the cultural phenomena of European societies in the past and present. The key concept of culture is a social system of action and order, which, however, is not rigidly fixed but must be understood as a form of social practice in which people negotiate in an ongoing process the rules that they use to organize their everyday lives and their living together.
