This department aims to produce creative and independent-minded Koreans who are able to work alongside professionals from advanced countries that are spearheading the globalization of the 21stcentury through the study of English-American literature and professional English language education.Inaddition, the department strives to train enrolled students to become treasured human resources who are capable of interpreting, translating, counseling, and participating in joint research projects.In the 21st century marked by globalization and the Internet, those who have good English skills are more valued than others.
