Bachelor of Writing

At UC the focus of our Bachelor of Writing is on the process of writing as a creative practice. We have developed a sophisticated and vibrant program of practical and theoretical study, which includes guest lectures and seminars by world-class writers. They are proud that their staff are active, published writers who bring up-to-date and real-world knowledge of writing, editing and publishing. You will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in hands-on editing and publishing as either a creative writer or a member of the editorial committee for FIRST, UC s annual anthology of creative works. Opportunities are also available to take part in our Study Abroad program and apply to spend a semester with one of our international exchange partners such as Oxford University.
