Bachelors in Bioengineering

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering will receive broad preparation to enter fields such as biotechnology, biomedical engineering and medicine. The curriculum provides the core courses for entry into most medical schools. The program involves developing processes and products made possible by basic science research in biology and engineering. The UCR campus offers comprehensive programs in the life sciences, and many specialized courses are available to students in the Bioengineering program to enhance their educational and career goals. The Bioengineering program is an interdisciplinary program offered by the Bourns College of Engineering.
