MS and PhD in Materials

The Materials Department was created and has grown around two basic concepts: to educate graduate students in advanced materials and to introduce them to novel ways of doing research in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Department offers specializations in the following areas: electronic materials, inorganic materials, macromolecular/biomolecular materials, and structural materials. Programs of study and research can be individually tailored to accommodate research needs and student interest.
