BE Mathematics

Mathematics is one of the oldest sciences and plays an indispensable role in many fields of modern science (e.g. physics, computer science, engineering, economics). It is divided into the two major areas of pure and applied mathematics. The main areas of pure mathematics include algebra, analysis, geometry, topology and number theory, while applied mathematics includes numerics, optimisation and stochastics.
