Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training

The Athletic Training program at the University of Connecticut is committed to excellence in education and research. The program is housed in the Department of Kinesiology in the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources, which offers the students the chance to learn and interact with faculty in the areas of exercise science, strength and conditioning, athletic training, and physical therapy. The program provides students with a diverse clinical education experience and a challenging academic course load. Students are able to gain clinical education experiences in a variety of occupational settings and interact with many preceptors with a variety of experiences.
