BS Math Education

The Mathematics Program enables students to design and compute an environment to focus on supplementing the primary work of their major. To demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the processes of mathematical problem solving and to develop and appreciation for mathematical rigor and inquiry through reasoning and proof. To communicate mathematical thinking, orally and in writing, to peers, faculty and others, in order to make distinctions and make connections between among mathematical ideas, in order to build mathematical understanding.
