Bachelor of Science Elementary Education in Special Education in Learning Disabilities

Elementary Education with Add-on Certification in Special Education: Learning Disabilities is designed in accordance with certification requirements established by the South Carolina State Department of Education and includes the curriculum of the Elementary Education program. In addition to learning strategies for teaching and assessing students in grades 2 through 6 in their major courses, teacher candidates also learn the characteristics of students with learning disabilities, as well as methods for teaching and assessing students with learning disabilities in grades K-12.
