BA Hons Education

Education programmes provide a critical analysis of contemporary educational theories, policies and practices. Education papers also enhance students' programmes in related fields of history, psychology, social work, and other major subjects. The University of Otago College of Education offers a number of teaching qualifications for those interested in at early childhood, primary (including primary bicultural) and secondary education. There are also specialist programmes offered at the Southland Campus in Te P kai M tauranga o te Ao Rua (Primary Bicultural Education).
