MEng in Chemical Technology with a Year in Industry

This exciting new course reflects our distinctive position as the only combined School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in the UK to offer a degree comprising core elements of both disciplines. It also reflects the workplace, where chemists and engineers work together and need to communicate with and understand each other. Fundamental aspects of each discipline are studied, and in later stages specialist modules in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering are chosen determining whether an MEng or MSci degree is awarded. A key component of this 5-year degree programme is the full year industrial placement with a leading company in the field.
