BS Business Informatics

As an interdisciplinary subject, business informatics forms the interface between business administration and computer science. Her tasks include solving business management tasks through the development and use of suitable information and communication solutions as well as the analysis of new information technologies with regard to their application potential for operational practice. The importance of pure hardware and programming knowledge takes a back seat to the ability to design IT-supported solutions and to implement them cooperatively in business organizations. In addition to the basics of information processing, the business informatics course teaches business and analytical thinking skills in particular.
