Statistics is the art of making informed decisions in the face of uncertainty. The research strengths, aside from traditional interest in multivariate analysis, reliability, and time series, are now in the areas of high-dimensional inference, statistical learning, neuroimaging, statistics in psychiatry, and clinical trials methodology.
