MSc Biomedical Engineering

Every day, biomedical technology saves lives by allowing us to locate lesions and tumours inside a person s body. This ever-evolving technology has become essential in the medical world, and the interuniversity collaboration between Vrije Universiteit Brussel and UGent offers a study programme that can train experts in medical radiation physics. This multidisciplinary programme does not only train students to find technological answers to technical questions, but calls for biomedically engineered solutions in balance with economical and ethical considerations.
