Master Of Science In Nursing (MSN)

The Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner Program prepares nurses to become board-certified family nurse practitioners and prepares them to advance in leadership roles by allowing them to practice as Advanced Practice Nurses to the full extent of their education. The degree imparts advanced knowledge in health promotion, illness prevention, diagnosis and disease management. You will develop strategies for treating individuals, families and communities as you move through the degree program. Standard courses are centered on knowledge acquisition through reading, writing, research and discussion. Clinical courses offer hands-on experience. Through this two-pronged approach to learning, you will hone your skills as a primary care provider.
