MA History and Islamic Civilization

The Department of History and Islamic Civilization is recognized for its pioneering projects in the UAE. It was established the same year the University of Sharjah was inaugurated and was the first to offer a master's degree in history along with its bachelor's degree. It was also one of the first departments in the University to receive academic accreditation from the then Ministry of Higher Education and Research in 2002/2003.
