BA Hons Dance

On the rich Dance programme you will train in a broad range of contemporary dance practices and gain exciting insight into dance histories and contexts. The students work as dancers, choreographers, teachers, researchers, managers and leaders and are much sought after by the dance industry. The unique approach rejects the artificial separation of practice and theory , and develops your understanding of dance as a diverse and dynamic cultural practice. You will be given vital knowledge and competence for a professional career in dance, benefitting from both the heritage of the University of Surrey as well as being part of the dynamic dance community at Guildford School of Acting. They offer a fully integrated course and welcome differently-abled bodies.
