Bachelors in Cinema Studies

The graduate has acquired a thorough knowledge of the world history of cinema and the history of Czech and Slovak film, has acquired a basic knowledge of the main directions of film theory and aesthetics of film, is oriented in the main themes discussed in contemporary research, as well as systematic preparation for the profession of film critic. In addition, he will gain a basic understanding of philosophy and a very good knowledge of at least one world language. The Bachelor of Film Studies can be employed as an editor in both industry and cultural journals, in the cultural newspapers, as well as in other media (radio, television, internet) or as a publishing editor.
