MSc Geology

Geological education at Moscow State University is an important link in the whole system of higher education of the Russian Federation, and being the major educational and scientific centre of the country the Faculty of Geology coordinates the work of other Russian universities in the field of geological education. Graduates of the faculty are skilled computer users, they obtain profound knowledge in the field of the Earth Science as well as in Geoeconomics and Ecological Geology. Students develop their theoretical knowledge during their annual field training in the Crimea, the Urals, and Moscow region. Due to high standards of training, effective educational methods, and individual approach to every student graduates of the faculty can easily find a job not only in the field of Geology but also in many others areas.
