The Department of Energy Science and Engineering offers graduates in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical engineering and other allied engineering disciplines an opportunity to specialize in the field of energy. The faculty of DESE have developed strong linkages with government organizations like the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Department of Atomic Energy and several industrial organisations (like Forbes Marshall,Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission).
