Civil and Environmental Engineering ME

We offer a Master of Science (MS) in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a project-based Master of Engineering (ME). Thirty credits of coursework, seminar and project or research work are required for the ME and MS degrees. The MS degree typically takes 18-24 months and requires students to write and defend a thesis on their independent research. The ME degree is project based and requires a total of 30 credits including coursework and the project. It can be completed in one academic year on-campus or as a part-time program over two years or more depending on the student s plan. The ME degree with a concentration in Construction Engineering Management (CEM) allows part-time students to take two courses each term or choose the pace that fits their schedule. Students in CEM have the option to customize their degree with courses on-line or on-site.
