The track Biomechanics gives you in-depth knowledge about the application of mechanics and measurement methods for understanding the structure and function of biological materials at the organism, organ, tissue, cell, and molecular level. The track includes many application fields ranging from cell biomechanics to fracture fixation and provides education and hands-on research opportunities in theoretical, experimental and computational biomechanics.
