Specialized Master in gender studies

An MA in Gender Studies focuses on the theories and practices of gender equality in a variety of situations. Students can choose to specialize in gender and work, gender and politics, or gender and literature. Typical courses include the theory and practice of feminism, social change, feminist genealogies, public policy, and women writers. Some programs also explore these issues in a transnational and multicultural context. Associated areas of study included in many programs are sexuality and race.
