This course trains applicants for entrance examinations in Belarusian, Russian and foreign languages, literature as well as organizes different foreign language classes for university students. During the years of their studies students obtain deep knowledge in the History of National and World Literature and Culture, learn the processes of languages development, and their present state. They also study the basics of writing activity, text automatic processing techniques, translation theory and practice, computer technologies in language teaching. The students of Slavic, Romance-Germanic and Eastern philology have their language practice abroad: in Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, China, etc.
