Bachelors degree in Musicology

The UAB is the only university in Catalonia to offer a Bachelor's Degree in Musicology, a course that has a long tradition in universities all over Europe. Its purpose is to train future professionals who can take on tasks of musical management and curation of musical heritage, and conduct research in musicology, a key factor in understanding the history of music as a part of our culture. The bachelor's degree offers new technologies and the most modern applications available to musicology. In recent years, musicology has taken on new challenges, particularly those related to the social recognition of musical activities, which in turn has led to the creation of new expectations and professional profiles.
