MSc Computer Science and Statistics

The Department of Statistics was established in the year 1951, with Late Prof. K.Nagabhushanam as Head of the Department. It is a matter of great pride that the department was started y such an eminent personality who obtained his Doctorate in Statistics under the guidance of Prof. Harald Cramer, an eminent statistician of the World. The department, since inception, has been working in tune with the mission of the University to promote teaching, research and extension.
