Masters in computer

The master's degree in computer science makes it possible to undertake higher studies of course type (without memory) or research type (with memory). The master's degree type can be completed by a test or an internship in a company while the master's research type allows the student to demonstrate his ability to autonomously conduct a research project that counts for more than half of the program's credits. The research-based master's degree allows three paths: the path without concentration and the pathways in bioinformatics and imaging and digital media. Available areas of research include artificial intelligence, software engineering, imaging, mobile and distributed computing, theoretical computing and security. The master's degree may also be offered jointly with another university, if the latter has signed a cooperation agreement with the Universit de Sherbrooke to that effect.
