BA in Musicology

In addition to an overview of the history of music, the focus of the training is an introduction to the subject as a historical and interpretive discipline. Project and practice-related modules are essential components that ensure the connection to professional fields of activity, for example through collaboration in scientific editions, publishers, broadcasters, opera houses, festivals or complete editions. At the same time, in the narrower sense, research-related modules in the core subject enable the expansion of subject-specific knowledge and thus preparation for the master's degree.
