BA in Graphic Design

Students in the graphic design program learn to use media (print, electronic, and film) and computer software to create art that meets clients' needs. Graphic designers can work as in-house designers for a particular company, as staff designers for a graphic design firm, or as freelance designers working for themselves. They also find career opportunities in film and animation studios, publishing firms, educational institutions, newspapers, greeting card companies, radio stations, web design companies, manufacturing industries, retail trade, and government institutions.
