MA Art History Heritage and Museums

The course ''History of art, heritage and museum'' aims to provide training to ensure management functions of multipurpose establishments (museums of collectors, writers, sites or remarkable areas ...), missions of heritage promotion and mediation, in particular at the regional level, the organization of cultural events and artistic and cultural education projects in line with national education. This is to strengthen knowledge in art history and acquire skills in the field of conservation, management of works, inventory, cataloging etc. in order to offer professional opportunities in all areas of tangible and intangible heritage. The training is supplemented by the acquisition of skills in management, heritage and cultural law, in a foreign language and mastery of digital tools. In addition to multidisciplinary seminars and study days, the training includes a supervised project carried out in small groups under the responsibility of a teacher-researcher and an external sponsor, an internship related to the pure or applied research thesis and educational trips.'
