BS Design Housing and Merchandising in Apparel Design and Production

The faculty and staff of Design, Housing and Merchandising are committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate education, research and extension. Coursework includes application of industry based technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Advanced Excel analytical skills and use of Gerber Technology software and equipment. Students are required to complete faculty supervised internships before their senior year. Recent internships have included Nordstrom s, QVC, Anthropologie, G III Apparel, and both Commercial and Residential Interior Design firms. Our graduates are highly sought after and command strong starting salaries.
