A flexibly educated specialist, finding employment in historical professions in museums, archives, in the educational sphere, but also as a worker in state and local administration, in cultural facilities and in the field of tourism. In the case of additional addition of a pedagogical qualification as a pedagogical worker. The graduate will be able to quickly orientate himself in his field, competently handle the requirements of practice and impress with his broader overview of the Central European context of national and general history. Therefore, during the course of study, emphasis will be placed on knowledge of the issues of the theory of history, historiography and thorough familiarization with selected problems of history. A graduate with excellent academic results can continue at the Faculty of Arts UHK in doctoral studies; will also get the opportunity to apply for doctoral studies in historical fields at other faculties in the Czech Republic and abroad.
