Health training

Our health training allows the preparation of four competitions ( dental surgery , maieutics , medicine , and pharmacy ). In Lyon, recruitment in masso-kinesitherapy also goes through this first year, taught at two sites: Lyon-Est (Lyon 8th arrondissement) and Lyon-Sud (Oullins). The studies of dental surgery, medicine and pharmacy are then prepared within the corresponding faculties and offer various specializations of varying durations. Midwifery training (maieutics) takes place in two schools, in Bourg-en-Bresse and Oullins. Access to other paramedical studies of hearing aids , occupational therapy , speech therapy , orthoptics and psychomotricity is made on selection via the Parcoursup application. Preparation for the six paramedical practice diplomas (audioprosthetist, occupational therapist, masseur/physiotherapist, speech therapist, orthoptist, psychomotor therapist) is done in Lyon-Est within the Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences and Techniques. The Hospices Civils de Lyon are involved in the training process by offering students numerous internship sites within the hospital groups of the second CHU in France. They offer a wide range of disciplines and specialties.
