The first level Master in Communication of Science and Innovation aims to offer professional skills in the communication of research and innovation and to train key figures for the development of communication strategies, dialogue and public engagement in research organizations, in production contexts oriented towards innovation, in the field of scientific culture (science centers, science festivals), in administration sectors that focus on research and innovation. The main educational objectives of the Master are: an understanding of the social and cultural contexts of science and innovation, how they have changed and the implications for communication; reading and analysis of the communicative dynamics characteristic of contemporary research and innovation, and the ability to translate this into effective and sustainable operational strategies; in-depth knowledge of the potential and limitations of contemporary communication media in the field of research and innovation communication, including practical and laboratory activities; the ability to develop and critically evaluate the quality of communication activities, not only from the point of view of organizational objectives but also maintaining coherence with the expectations of audiences and recipients; the close integration of the latest research outcomes on science and society with communication of science and innovation and the design of operational strategies.
